Linkin Park – “Battle Symphony”

No feeling this at all. It reminds me of that "This is my fight song" chorus that I can't stand.

 

I like it more than the first song. I like this a lot actually.

 

better than their other single but still not for me.

At least this direction seems to cater to Chester's voice better than anything on their last couple albums.

 

And is Mike just not in the band anymore or what?

 

I came here to basically say "so this band is dead now?" because to me it seems like they don't need Mike or really any other members if they're just going to use synthesized beats for Chester to sing over. Yeah the band can play to them live, but then they're just a backing band.

 

I wasn't a fan of their nu-metal sound but these last 2 songs are even worse. How many co-writers are on this album?

 

Feel like this is a Chester side project. It doesn't remind me of LP at all. Closer to a One Republic song.

 

this isnt even linkin park anymore. i get evolution and shit, but man...how do you go from a hard rock band to an EDM group?

 

I'll probably listen to this eventually but after hearing their last song I have no interest in hearing this one.

Mike's actually the main songwriter so he probably made most of the music on the two songs released I'm assuming

 

I didnt make it past 30 seconds, these songs just do nothing for me and leave me no desire to revisit them.
