This week’s newsletter looks at music and entertainment I enjoyed this week. This was a good week for singles, and I’m all about that new PVRIS album. This week’s supporter Q&A post can be found here.

Surprised you didn’t enjoy Love, Victor. The writing is definitely rough in some episodes. But I thought it got better with every episode.

I want to watch Dark so bad but the voice overs seemed rough,. That + the voice overs don't always match the subtitles. Only watched an episode or two. I think i just need to push past it.

  5. Highly recommend watching it with subtitles.

  6. Maybe we need to try a third, but the first two were really rough. Especially for something very much in my entertainment wheelhouse. :-/

The third season of Dark almost broke me. I was so frustrated halfway through believing there was no way I'd understand the ending after being so invested over the last couple of years and almost quit. Glad I stuck with it because it has one of the most beautiful endings I've seen in recent history.

I'll be starting from season one in the near future - why not watch it in the original language? For me English is also a second language, so it's just a matter of getting used to it being in German, and getting English or Polish subtitles.
