I feel like the first 3 or 4 songs on Still Sucks are great, but takes a nosedive after. Also very short album.

 

Legitimately think Still Sucks is their most consistent, even if the first three have more staples

 

They'll never top Chocolate Starfish and their debut but Still Sucks had some jams. Also was bit disappointed at the short length. A few cuts felt more like random ideas than fully fledged songs.

Ok I'm 7 songs in on Gold Cobra and this is so much more fun than I remembered.

This is exactly how I feel. First 4 tracks are absolute top tier bangers IMO and then it’s real mixed after. Even the tracks I like (Barnacle, Pill Popper, and Goodbye) - I rarely ever return to them.

 

It's the one I listen to front-to-back most often. Good lawn-mowing album.

Feeling old!! I remember buying this album on the day of release when Virgin Megastores was still a thing!!

 

I remember downloading My Way off of Napster with a friend on his computer.

 

I’m pretty sure I bought my CD at the local Target?

Anyways, my favorite track is Hot Dog by a landslide.

 

Fucks just a word and it’s all fucked up

 

Also I still laugh whenever I see that album’s cover art. Everything from the cheapest font imaginable on what would be a number one record, to the sea of hot dogs, to a chocolate starfish with a very pronounced “hole” to drive it all home.. hilarious as hell.

I would’ve loved to see Interscope’s reaction to the title and art behind closed doors. Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water has to be one of the most insane album titles alone for a number one band ever right?

 

One of my very first albums ever, so it'll always have a special place in my music journey

 

Remember picking this up at a local CD store that sold albums the Friday before release date. I was so pumped. Album is still great.

 

Fuck. RIP.

Gonna throw on Re-Arranged, this sucks. Him and Otto are the true unsung heroes of the band, that section was crazy tight and really added something to that band.
