Watching the video again, and half to laugh at them blurring out the NFL logo on Fred's shirt. They're worried about trademark infringement from a shirt, but not concerned with appropriating the likeness of 5 world leaders and a movie star? Lol

 

As much as I want vinyl, I have my doubts, so I ordered two of the LE numbered gold disc CDs for my brother and I. I don't really buy CDs anymore (the last BROCKHAMPTON albums were the only exception), but it will be a cool collectible.

 

I hadn’t referenced LB once to my wife, but today she’s like “who’s that guitar guy with Fred durst who always had black lenses.. he’s so hot.” I’m like.. “Wes Borland? Hard fuckin agree, babe.” I played a ton of linkin park today and that may have sparked the thought.

 

Wes Borland is the MVP of that band. Sam Rivers is a decently close second IMO.

 

I don’t know I fuckin love John Otto.

 

The instrumentalists in this band are some of the best in the genre and I would be hard to convince otherwise.

 

Instrumentally, they are tight, groovy and they’ve always sounded incredible live. The Woodstock set alone is a pantheon performance.

The groove of the rhythm section and Wes’ guitar work deserved better than Fred’s occasional lazy lyricism.

You can like the band and still believe this.
