Some solid songs on this, pleasantly surprised.

I'm seeing a lot of negative response to this tho. Mainly on KTT.

 

I'm impressed with the stretch from Harley to Lady in Yellow. Yachtys gotta stop with the hard trap shit. It's not his strength at all

 

Uhhh Rolling Stone basically says this is a landmark rap album in their review....

 

Also surprised by the moderately positive critical reception this thing is getting...the movement is gaining momentum!

 

Maybe this is my ignorance of the culture, but why does no one seemingly care about misogyny in hip hop?

I love this album though.

I listened to this in full 5 times today

 

On my third and can honestly say I love this front to back. I was anticipating this but like it even more than I expected.

Running With A Ghost just came on, whew

Just keep going. After Harley the album changes drastically

 

So this is how I'm going to play the album from now on.

 

Just skimmed through this on itunes previews (like a real music reviewer). Some of the beats were cool but the delivery and the lyrics are such garbage I can't take it seriously. 4 or 5 of these songs might be good If they were made "properly".

Anyways, I came here to say that this once again cheered me the fuck up when I was feeling down as shit this morning. It's works like magic.

 

Obviously a bit of a hyperbole but yeah, Yachty's music is one of the only things in my life that genuinely makes me smile. Usually I feel very stuck and unmotivated but I think the most important part of his music to me is the way it helps me feel like my goals are actually achievable.

 

The TinyMixtapes review of the Lil Boat tape is really fantastic, also Dean Blunt is sick. Thanks team
