Excited to hear the unreleased stuff but no hope for this as a cohesive project.

including songs with lyrics like this, just make me feel weird. its sometimes hard to not feel like his death is being exploited.

 

the acoustic walk away... is incredible tho

 

Going through this now. Just up to the Goth Angel Sinner tracks, which are obviously great, but everything before it does not strike me as very good at all? It's only a first listen but I would go as far as saying those 8 tracks are maybe the worst I've heard from him. Hope there's some stronger stuff in the back half.

 

The original version of "I've Been Waiting" is so good. I hope that record he made with Makonnen actually materializes some day.

 

Would like to see a breakout of what songs are from what time period. Also RIP as of two years ago today

 

Acoustic version of "walk away as the door slams" is a new emo classic

Low key sounds like it could have been on an early Tigers Jaw record lmao

 

justifies the entire existence of that new release tbh.

I also swear its the exact same vocal mix from the OG song just with a newly recorded acoustic track

 

You're probably right because that's pretty much standard practice with major label acoustic versions.

 

I’ve been driving around in the rain with this on repeat for days and probably will do the same today (even though I enjoy some of the happier stuff on here the most)
