Loving this album. Worth the wait and also isn’t bloated with filler crap just to goose the streaming numbers.
Never been a huge Nas X fan but I really liked the singles leading up to this. I listened to the record, and while it's all *good*, I can't help but feel like it's a little... lifeless? I just feel like his voice and musical persona are so bland in comparison to his public one. Not to say the record is bad, it's just really forgettable I guess.
It's so cool that who was formerly the Old Town Road rapper has turned into such a legitimately great artist, this album is really good. This kid can write the shit out of a hook, That's What I Want is a fucking banger. The whole thing is good though, and both cohesive and varied at the same time. Nas X is going to be around for a long time
Looks like he won’t debut at #1. That Drake record is still gonna be at number one…has Drake evolved his sound on any of his last 3 records, white girls in the burbs must really love his vibe.
