Quality over quantity. There's 24 episodes of the IT Crowd and each one is pure gold.

 

I wonder if the US pilot of IT Crowd is floating around anywhere.

Oh it is. And, as much as I hate to say anything bad about something Joel McHale is in, it's SO TERRIBLE.

 

I mean the filming in front of the live audience was the risk haha.

Oh man. I want to go back and watch some Will and Grace. I loved that show.

 

Yeah same in the UK, but shows like The Office were getting huge and sitcoms were on a downward trend.

The guy from IT Crowd is one of my least favorite parts of Bridesmaids. That's working against it, too.

 

I'm so surprised the US version of The Office wasn't trash like every other American version of a UK comedy.

Chris O'Dowd is HUGELY underrated.

 

Like, his show Moone Boy on Hulu? So good. I love it.

 

Moone Boy is fucking hilarious and O'Dowd is so precious.

 

This pilot is so fucking bad. They changed nothing in the script. Joel's delivery is atrocious. This never would have worked as a US show.

 

Yeah, this was a straight reshoot, not an inspired by situation like The Office was. I'm pretty sure that I would have ended up absolutely hating Joel if that had actually panned out. And that would hurt my soul.

 

I'm pretty sure the Office US pilot was a reshoot too.
