Ooh. What kinda spot? I hear they're crazy demanding, but you learn a ton and make bank

 

it's a customer service position. I went through all the preliminary stuff the last few days and now I have this "appointment" as they're calling it, tomorrow. ten dollars an hour and forty hours a week is cool. it's a seasonal position so even if I hate it, I'll still be looking around for something else while I'm working there. I have heard they are demanding too. also heard they are not good to their workers, and I've heard they are, too. we'll see

 

Not bad. I know those jobs aren't as bad as the programming spots. I had a friend who worked as a software engineer there for a while and he had a bad time. I think he made it a year or so, but the public-facing jobs aren't quite as demanding.

Now's probably not the right time to mention I've yet to find a Beatles song I enjoy the original of, is it? Blame my parents, they both despise the Beatles despite being some of the biggest music lovers I know.

 

My parents were Zeppelin fans and it always left me bored with The Beatles.

Same! Pops got me on Zeppelin at a young age, I still love em. Beatles are lameeee.

Oh and I watched some Lucha last night.

 

It was sooooo good. I love the guy who plays Matanza. He is an incredible talent. Guys his size should not be able to do moonsaults like that.

Seriously. I like Led Zeppelin, but they're not known for their integrity or their originality. The Beatles are the most influential rock band of all time and for good reason. When someone says, "I don't like the beatles," I cringe. sorry, not sorry

 

to say you don't like The Beatles is one thing, but every band you listen to wouldn't sound the way they do if The Beatles never existed. they just wouldn't.

 

I don't really like the beatles.

 

I appreciate them for what they mean to music. But when I hear them my brain just tells me, "meh". Can't help that.
