You put both in coffee? How much?

 

Eh, not too much, and I use a decent sized mug. Enough Irish cream to act as creamer, half a packet of Splenda, and maybe a shot of bourbon. But with the weight loss surgery, alcohol hits me pretty instantly since I don't actually digest it. It's good times. I can be drunk, sober, drunk, sober and then drunk again all within three hours. And then wake up without a hangover.

Sometimes I feel like I wake up with a hangover even when I don't drink. #theallergylife

 

Right? I'm just working on perfecting a consistent level of happy drunk for a few hours rather than having to deal with the rollercoaster. It's all about the pacing. I haven't quite figured it out yet, though. lol

 

I've only tried Bailey's in coffee and didn't love it. The liquer taste is hard to shake

 

Just got shunned in the food thread by a user I don't even really like and I'm coming here so as to not be TOO petty about it

 

I don't mind it... gives the coffee an extra bite. I use Emmets usually, which is pretty good. I grabbed a different one today, but the Splenda definitely curbs some of the alcohol hit.

 

Bailey's in coffee is one of my favorites. Better in espresso than normal coffee, though.

 

my mother in law makes some homemade irish cream every year around christmas time and then we all get drunk christmas morning.

 

I always wanted to make homemade eggnog, but now that I can't have it I'm kinda sad. :(

 

I'm sad that I liked this while eating a protein bar that tastes like a Thin Mint while also thinking about how much I miss actual Girl Scout cookies.

 

girl scout cookies are actually overrated because you can get the same cookies in the grocery store for much cheaper.

 

As a former Brownie, this upsets me on a core level.

 

where is this supposed reduced price thin mint. i need the information for science.
