I'm very okay with the pace this thread is at now

 

I made a decision to do more work and less posting so I don't get fired

 

haven't been on in almost 24 hours and catching up with likes was manageable. i approve.

The more people try to "help" me look for a job, the more I realize just how little the people on my life know about me as a person. I appreciate their "help", but mostly want them to stop trying as it gets awkward saying "thanks, but no thanks" all the time.

 

This makes me want to listen to The Jonbenet for some reason.

Seeing the Jonbenet during a time when shitty mosh ruled was perfect. They don't really do breakdowns. When they do, they are short and they just mock the guys dancing. The crowd would just stand around bored so they would perform sitting down. I was wearing a Coliseum shirt, and the singer came up to me mid song and asked me to hang out with him and talk about vinyl. lol

The start of the neon movement. And also the FSU shit that was going down in Central Jersey. It was all so bad. I even supported a lot of that shit (not FSU).

I can't remember what I found appealing about bands like From a Second Story Window or Ion Dissonance.

 

I will say, the two bands I mentioned were not some of the offenders of either of the things mentioned in that post. lol

 

I bet Dan was into Rocking Back and Forth to Create the Illusion of Satisfaction.
