Funny you mention that. I blocked my first user the other day after over 12 years of being a member on this site.

 

I haven't gotten a haircut in... six months? :/

i get my haircut about once every 6 weeks.

 

i used to be every three weeks. thursday will be two months and it's the worst.

You might be able to notice a trend in the likes.

 

I grow mine out until it's so long I'm tired of dealing with it. Then, I pretty much shave it all off. Then I grow it all the way out again before cutting it all off once again. Repeat.

 

I'm glad it's settled that a hot dog is a sandwich. This new soup thread is just insane though.

 

My aunt just got her bloodwork back and her remission results are 98% cured with no chance of re-occurrence. I like those odds.

So you consider chili "soup"? My fiancé always calls it soup and for some reason it bothers me ha. It's just chili. Not soup.

Where does everyone else fall on the chili/soup spectrum?

 

that's a tough one. i just asked my wife and she said yes she calls it soup. i guess i would too, but it's like they're related, but once removed by marriage. a second cousin or something.

 

Chili is a soup, but it's a special soup in that it's able to be known outside of it's larger label. Just like hot dogs and hamburgers.

 

We do half a point/per reception. I've been in the same league since high school (10 years) and we just started doing PPR a few years ago.

We also started playing for money which is a lot more stressful hah. $100 buy in. First place gets $1100 and second place gets their money back.

 

Chili tacos definitely deserves its own category though.

I guess I've always thought as soup as something you can sip. But I guess I do see how it can be referred to as soup.

Chili is chili. It's more of a stew with the way my family makes it, so it's next to impossible for me to think of it as a soup.

 

oh true. but also that's more broth. i'm used to heartier soups, i guess? my mom LOVES to make soups.

It's technically a soup. Agreed. It's really a stew, and since stews are a form of soup. Chili = soup.

I eat stew over noodles or rice. I do not do that with soup.

I'm in two leagues and both play for money. Last Saturday was a $50 buy in and this Saturday is my $100 buy in. We pay 75% to first and the rest to 2nd in both leagues
