Best friends Mia and Mel (Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne) are living their best lives running their own cosmetics company they’ve built from the ground up. Unfortunately, they’re in over their heads financially, and the prospect of a big buyout offer from a notorious titan of the cosmetics industry Claire Luna (Salma Hayek) proves too tempting to pass up, putting Mel and Mia’s lifelong friendship in jeopardy. The beauty business is about to get ugly. LIKE A BOSS also stars Billy Porter, Jennifer Coolidge, Ari Graynor, Natasha Rothwell, Jessica St. Clair and Karan Soni.

about to go watch this. expecting it to be terrible, but I have AMC A-List and there's not much left to watch that I haven't already seen.

besides, it couldn't be any worse than The Grudge, right?

from everything i’m reading, this is in fact very bad but the chemistry that rose and tiffany have save it from the depths of hell

yeah reviews are saying what I feared from the trailers that it's super dated and even this cast can't save it

It's not good, but it's not completely abysmal either. It's watchable. Rose and Tiffany definitely hold it together, but it's mostly forgetable and most of the jokes don't really land. It's respectable of your time though and has them smoking pot in more than one scene, so I'm not too mad at it.

honestly, i might've actually gone to a pre-screening of this if it weren't for a 1917 screening the same night
