Midnight Machines had two new songs, but Siberia Acoustic didn't have any. The first Acoustic EP had a Rancid cover, but no new originals

 

Pretty cool news all around. Will probably put her on rotation today while at work.

oh WOW you are totally right, I somehow overlooked that!

 

Morphine, Giants, Moonshine, Magnetic Field & Fight Club are the tracks off the album which aren't getting acoustic re-works, if anyone was wondering. JUSTICE FOR MOONSHINE.

 

Moonshine would have been nice for sure

 

Surprised she's not doing Giants since I believe that was the biggest single from the album. I would love to hear acoustic versions of every track, but I can also see why these songs may not be as well tailored as some of the others to getting the acoustic treatment.

 

It's because she already did it :)

the acoustic album is so extremely soothing

 

As expected, I like the acoustic more than the original. She just has a knack for stripping her songs down in such an effective way

 

I've always prefered her acoustic versions, I'm glad she does them for like every release.

 

It's continually impressive to me how essential each acoustic release is. She never, ever mails it in.

 

Wait is the acoustic album out? I can't remember what the release date is lol
