"Sonic ballpark" is a bit broad so this might not be quite what you're looking for, but Nurture by Porter Robinson is a hell of an album. For someone who doesn't get a ton of attention on this site, he was on quite a few EOTY lists here for whatever that's worth.

 

honestly, she probably just... doesn't want to, haha. I think it's pretty clear from her solo music and features what kind of music she likes to make

Yeah this is a ton of fun. Okay Okay reminds me so much of another song but I can't figure it out

 

If her next album isn't end-to-end songs like Grip, I'm gonna be automatically disappointed. This is already what I'm setting myself up for.

Oh hell yeah, somehow forgot this band existed even though their last album made my EOTY list in 2018 haha. Gonna check out this new one.

 

I've actually never heard of them til this, sounds like I should check out that 2018 album?

 

I would recommend it, just a real solid pop/rock album!
