Lovee that! How could she not na na though?! Such a tease. On a not important important note, did she have some work done? She looks completely unrecognizable from when I saw her a decade ago.
This came up in the last thread and I don't really think it's appropriate to discuss. She also became a mom, works out, has an entirely different life. No one is talking about all the men who look vastly different than 10+ years ago
Nahh I'm "old" and have kids and it has nothing to do with her sex, this is different. In any case I hope she's well.
Stealing from the top instagram comment, "I think I need a "Lights goes punk" whole album after this"
I don't think commenting on her physical appearance moves the conversation in any meaningful way, you guys have been here for far too long to know better
I’m bummed I’ll be missing her this tour. She’s playing on the same night that Emery, As Cities Burn, and Classic Crime are playing. Womp womppp.
I’ve dipped in and out of Lights’ discography since Little Machines, but I used to be a huge fan back in the early days. I even saw her live a few times in tiny ~100-cap rooms—got to the point where she actually recognised me from the stage, ha. PEP was solid from what I remember. Where would you say is the best place to dive back in? Or should I just commit to a full discography run?
Loved the early days with the Lights EP up to Siberia, but I was 50/50 on Little Machines at the time. Will check Skin&Earth out as I've only heard the singles I think—thanks Steve!
I’d also recommend starting with her Midnight Machines EP, where she did acoustic versions of Little Machines. That’s probably my favorite era of hers and where I think she really shines.
Personally I think A6 is her best album and it's not even close. PEP is my #2 followed by Siberia. I never really connected with the other albums.
Yeah I'll definitely still enjoy it, she's a great artist, but I hope the next one brings back the musical variety, PEP goes so many places and does it so well
Pumped to give this a listen. Currently listening to the new Softcult album....fitting that her tourmates released their album on the same day.
