Too stacked of a release day but I’m very excited to check this out!

So I really like this. I’m working through the second half now. It’s all undeniably pretty. Not sure how often I’ll come back though, it can be a little static. It almost borders on the edge of shoe gaze sometimes, but the vocals are still very forward in the mix. Slowdive comes to mind but pretty like Mazzy Star. But also pulls back to more intimate folk moments, it’s nice.

“I Lie Awake” is undeniable though. That’s a killer song.

 

This may come across as reductive and dismissive, and I don't intend it to be, but this album is so pleasant.
