Solid lineup.

 

just got my tickets and hotel for this.

For my tastes this is the best lineup of the year. Chance, Muse, GORILLAZ, Blink, the xx, Lorde, Cage, Dreamcar, Tycho, Haim, Schoolboy Q, Vince Staples, Local Natives, Day Wave......and it's all in Vegas! I can't wait.

 

Also I am shocked that this thing already sold out. Really impressive.

There will be single day passes.

 

I wouldn't panic too much. Coachella is the biggest festival in the world and still a week before the fest my friends were finding tix on stubhub for face value. I'm sure it'll be the same for this.

 

Hoping I can do this:

Friday: Chance, Lorde, Blink, Two Door, Dreamcar, Day Wave
Saturday: Muse, Cage, Schoolboy, Tycho, Local Natives,
Sunday: Gorillaz, The XX, MGMT, Haim, Pusha T, De La Soul, Vince Staples

Also with Pusha, De La and Vince all on the same day as Gorillaz you can guarantee they'll pop up for Gorillaz' set.

 

Sunday is so stacked... I hope I can make it

 

I disagree, I feel like Friday is the stacked day.

 

Friday is stacked too! I can only afford one though. Saturday is the weakest imo

 

FRI: Chance the Rapper, Lorde, Blink 182, 2 Chainz, Two Door Cinema Club, Capital Cities, Dreamcar
SAT: MUSE, Cage the Elephant, Schoolboy Q, Lil Dicky, Local Natives, Kyle, Coin
SUN: Gorillaz, MGMT, Haim, De La Soul, Vince Staples, PVRIS, Hippo Campus

That's a really solid weekend. If this was in a 4-5 hour distance of me, I'd be super interested.

Haim or The xx?

MGMT or Gorillaz? (Gonna have to go with Gorillaz because my girlfriend loves them and they're rarer but I love MGMT)

 

the xx's performance on this album cycle has been insane. one of my favorite shows of the year

 

I have seen them on this cycle already but that was like 55 minutes at Coachella vs 70 minutes here. Might have to choose them

Blink vs Chance
Andrew McMahon vs Schoolboy Q
Cage vs Tycho
Xx vs Haim

There's a few other unfortunate ones like that gorillaz mgmt one but it's an easy choice....Gorillaz are gonna be the highlight of the weekend.

 

Gorillaz will be more special, I guarantee it. I saw MGMT in 2013 and, while they were solid, it was pretty run of the mill.

 

Gorillaz all day, saw both this summer and Gorillaz absolutely killed it while MGMT were just solid (not that that's necessarily bad)

 

Yeah I'm definitely going to go with Gorillaz for many reasons but I really wish I could see MGMT as well. Damn festival clashes!

 

Anyone picking Blink over Chance? All my friends are gonna do Chance and I need someone to get drunk with during Blink hahaha
