Great write up, the Kinsella minds are always so interesting, really cool to hear about their weird experiments and get more context around the creation of this album, I need to dive into another full listen now

 

Good album, never reaches the high of Blemishes (which is absolutely stunning) but there’s plenty here to return to and love

 

Camera Chimera is a proper chune

 

wow, this is fucking incredible.

 

i'm halfway through this and so far the lyrics are fucking insane.

 

Glad I decided to give this a spin this week. Super impressed by everything.

The production is so crisp. Lots of creative sound scapes. Almost a little M83 meets The Cure (looking at you No Shame).

 

in blemishes he sings "i've been looking so long at these pixels of you" and i thought that was a nice homage.

 

Album release show tonight I am sooooo excited!

 

Are they touring with a full band or is it just the two of them?

It’s just the two of them, Mike is playing guitar and Nate is playing the drums.

 

The show last night was…amazing!!! If they are coming to your area, which I know is not too likely since they are hitting up just a couple cities this tour, definitely go! The songs sound even better live which I did not think I would be saying, because the recorded versions are just so good.

 

Do they use any backing tracks for that? I need to catch some videos

Late to the party but loving this.

 

I only got around to this lately but it's so good, currently obsessed with "Rough Vermouth" and "Sympathetic Eyes" and I realize those aren't even the most dynamic tracks on here.

 

Good time of year to revisit this and esp check that Audiotree I didn’t get around to seeing yet
