The Radiohead cover on this is out of this world.

Whole album is wonderful though.

 

It’s definitely less poppy than Blood, which I kind of like actually. I haven’t found it as immediate as her previous 2 albums, but already I’m enjoying it more with each subsequent listen.

this is making its way to the top part of my AOTY list very quickly. Perfect length and pacing, flawless songwriting and production. the drums are amazing. I was expecting to like this a lot but not this much. I think the Radiohead cover might be my least fav so far funny enough

 

Was listening to this today and realized I’d never fully appreciated that RIDICULOUS run at the end of “Please Don’t Make Me Cry”

 

Her voice is really something else

 

Just gave her new/recent album a listen. Really good stuff, definitely gonna be listening to more of her.

Plus i'm a sucker for a Radiohead cover. Can't decide if I prefer hers or Kelly Lee Owens cover of Arpeggi/Weird Fishes, though!

 

Weird Fishes may be the best track on the album honestly, it’s super well done.

I’ve been listening to her first two albums a lot recently. “Gone” and “Lost and Found” are such gut punches.

 

I hadn't realized there was a thread here... I was obsessed with this album and "Green Papaya" in particular over the summer, what a song that is

 

Hard for me to think of a more talented vocalist putting out music rn. And then on top of that she’s a great guitarist and songwriter. I saw her at House of Blues in Disneyland of all places back in 2015, and she’s just as good live. Was supposed to see her late March 2020 but of course that was canceled due to covid
