Any Letterkenny fans out there? All six seasons are now available on Hulu.

I'm on season 4 right now and I LOVE IT. The episode on the golf course with the Canadian 'Gooses' had me rolling.

Who's your favorite character?

 

Watched the first two seasons and absolutely loved it. Need to reactivate my Hulu to finish ‘er off

 

I REALLY need to get into this show. I've had season 1 sitting on my hard drive for ages but never got around to it. I'm sure I'd love it if I gave it a chance.

I just watched the sashimis and sushis episode and haven't laughed so hard in my life. This show is so perfect.

 

Love how Squirrely Dan says "shu-si"

 

I've heard people compare it to Trailer Park Boys which is one of my favorites, so I'm excited to check this out. Just gotta make the commitment since there's always so much stuff to watch.

 

It's better than Trailer Park Boys, imo

 

I think it's funnier than Trailer Park Boys. Definitely a different brand of comedy all together.

 

You're not the first person to tell me that, and in my opinion, that's extremely high praise.

 

I think it’s wittier than trailer park boys. TPB feels very improvised, Letterkenney’s writing is tight as fuck.

I don't doubt Mike Smith is probably an asshole, but the woman he "choked" is a good friend of his and she said he never touched her, they were just verbally arguing

 

Anyway, I've always had a fondness for some homegrown comedy. Pretty refreshing.

 

Is there a lot of hockey in this show?

 

Lots of hockey jargon but they never show them playing hockey.

 

Gonna check it out. Had no idea it existed until yesterday.

I'm 4 episodes into Season 3 and I'm not feeling it nearly as much as the first two :(

I feel like they really leaned into the toilet humor and having all the groups separated is a bummer. The Skids storyline is especially weak. I hope this is just an off season?

 

3 and 5 are a little weaker, 4 and 6 are gold. Stick with it for sure! There's an episode on a golf course in season 4 that is legendary haha

 

What are some RIYL examples for this? All I’ve heard is TPB and that doesn’t do anything for me, but it seems like everyone I know is obsessed with this now.

 

How it was described to me was a rural Canadian Workaholics/Its Always Sunny mix.

Finally got around to checking it out today and blew through two seasons already.

 

Ok great! IASIP is one of my absolute favorites and I’ve liked the Workaholics that I’ve seen.
