Was this the year he made a movie every month? Or was that 2024? Love this guy but have kind of fallen out of touch with his content
Yeah, proper slacking haha. Depends on the day, to be honest, sometimes it is just one a day but some other days I can fit four or five in. The more common amount is two a day since I generally watch a film around the time I eat, so dinner, and at night before bed. My most-watched week last year had 33 films watched. Two a day is more than manageable, quite frankly, and doing that would still get you to more than 700, so 880 isn't a ridiculous amount.
Oh nice. There are so many things that happened towards the beginning of 2025 that don’t feel like the same year that I couldn’t remember which year it was that he committed to do doing that. I’ll have to check some of those out, don’t think I’ve actually watched a feature of his since Drowning In Potential
Civil servant, work some days from home, which means I can watch films I have seen before while working.
It Just Takes Time was my favorite. Followed by Diarrhea Brothers Save The Day. A lot of them were very nice. This link should show all the ones I’ve seen sorted by rating: Jacob Tender’s diary
June all but guaranteed the Most Watched Directory when I tried to watch all the Studio Ghibli movies (aka "Studio Junebli").
It does have a subscription tier. If enough people are subscribe, they can unsubscribe when things go bad.
