I rewatched all of Anderson's movies near the end of the year so him and Hoffman make complete sense.

 

Chishu Ryu is in every Ozu film which is why he’s number 1 this year.

 

I am serious watcher of film.

 

Watched a lot of Shaw Brothers films during 2025, and as a result, Chang Cheh is now my most-watched director of all time at 27 films.

It was the Mission Impossible runthrough for me. Very fun experience.

 

Wow, did not realize we had such big film watchers here. I thought I watched a lot myself but I guess not.

 

My movie watching has plummeted during the week since the birth of my son -- I get through maybe a film a week -- but on weekends, I can still usually knock out 3-5 depending.

 

Averaged over 150 watches the last few years before this

17 were “crude humor and satire” and 8 of those were Coens
