I know this is a farewell tour but goddamn, I kinda wish they would just use this as a springboard into a second life for the band. I just feel like they have more to say!
Pardon my ignorance, but I've been wondering for awhile who covers the female vocals on 'Muther' whilst they're on tour in Europe? A guest slot each night? It was one of my favourite songs of 2010, but I still haven't seen it performed in person for various reasons. Mostly cause I live in England
All their language has been very vague to me that if they are "back" or "just doing a proper farewell". I feel like its the former. I would love that to be true. And new music would be a treat.
yeah i hope this is just like a soft launch for them being back in some capacity, whether its for new music or just to play shows. while ive made peace with the idea that this is just a one off thing, i would certainly love for it not to be lmao
Jason definitely said on stage that this was a farewell tour, but maybe that’s changed. I hope so because the current lineup with Skyler Acord is fucking fantastic.
It's the openers of 4 upcoming shows according to their IG channel, not sure why they're being so cryptic about it elsewhere
Yup, it's just that they added Beauty School Dropout to their US shows as the opener. I don't know them, excited to check them out.
I get the impression these shows are doing pretty well financially. Hope that’s all the incentive they need to keep going lol. Still going to make a trip out to Denver from Atlanta just in case I never get another opportunity…
I'm gonna have to give it another listen, but something about the Revisited production feels odd to me. The original is obviously a mess, but this version feels like... kinda hollow a bit? Something feels odd, I can't really name it
I don't disagree. know I'm basically alone on this island but I truly don't have any reason to prefer the redux to the original and when I want to hear this album I reach for the original lol
I love the remaster but for some reason they swing too hard in the other direction where it loses some of its character. Similar qualm I had to the Selfish Machines reissue
Same other than The Fear Fever due to the removal of some vocals on the redux. Listening to the latter compared to the original feels like going to an ear cleaning session lol
