This immediately reminded me of that one tweet Jason posted a long while back, about how he didn't feel like he was finished with letlive. yet. That video definitely points at a rebirth of some sort, and I hope these shows do well enough that they really consider remaining active and even releasing new music despite their other commitments.
So hyped! I have generally really enjoyed FEVER, but this band was way ahead of their time and seeing them live a couple times the energy was unmatched. Definitely going to the denver date. Also on the second one life one chance pod jason said never until this recent mental health event in his life did he feel he could reenter the Letlive mindset and write new material. I bet we get something this year.
No southeast is brutal and I don’t want to go to the new version of Warped Tour in Orlando. I’ll probably have the means to fly out —anyone have any recommendations on the best venues listed?
the waiting is killing me i’m afraid. it’s so beautifully done, but booting up my turntable that regularly just isn’t realistic.
House of Blues generally are kind of lame. I have fond memories working events at both Chicago and Orlando, but as a general venue I would much prefer any other club with a similar capacity in Chicago or Milwaukee. Rave gang!!!
Been doing a discog run the last couple of days and I'm struck by how much I still really like If I'm the Devil... I remember being in a very small minority here, and even looked back through this thread to see the vibe was overwhelmingly negative. I didn't really understand the hate then and still don't now, honestly.
the opener of that album is very okay and thats where my positives start and end lol. given it so many chances and its always left me arctic cold
the title track is pretty cool but that's all I really care for. I think there are maybe one or two more that I think are OK at best, but nothing that really sticks with me
Don’t like really any of the album that much at all but “Who You Are Not” specifically is one of the most grating and flat out terrible songs a band I like has ever released
