I've been spinning TBB a lot this week for the first time in ages not knowing why, guess I subconsciously clocked the anniversary coming up lmao still a great album with a lot of problems to it, they're really missing a trick if they don't issue a remix with competent production one of these days. would love it if they'd add the renditions stuff as a bonus too so they exist in better than youtube quality but that's a pipe dream, sucks that they'll never finish that project
Still their best album from my POV and I view it the same as I view Worship & Tribute in the way it builds on a seminal album but cranks things up to 11 while adding new influences into the mix. A proper remix would finally make it reveal its full potential, especially to those who were turned off by the way it sounds. It still baffles me they okay'd the final thing.
who are some of the artists y'all would've liked to hear on a finished Renditions? probably putting a hat on a hat but Daryl Palumbo on That Fear Fever would've gone crazy. collabing with some hip-hop artists also had a lot of potential
Daryl would've been a must. If we stay in somewhat the same scene, Greg Puciato, Rou Reynolds, George Pettit, Spencer Chamberlain, Sam Carter, Josh Scogin, Cory Brandan...
imagining Scogin going all All This and War on Priest and Used Cars and I gotta stop cos I'm just bumming myself out lmao
I'm not holding out hope but if Jason ever reads this I would love (and pay good money for) a remix/master, vinyl pressing, and album tour. Incredible album.
So I’m at the nothing nowhere show, and I think Jeff Sahyoun is playing bass?? Any way for anyone to confirm? Lol
So nothing ever came of the TBB 10 year anniversary and the Pressure Cracks LP is also still not announced. Hoping 2024 brings something I like from Jason, been a long time since I was truly stoked on a project.
He probably has his full focus on 333 Fever, feels like it's been a while since they last released an album
Their album 'Strength In Numb333rs' turns 5 years old later this month, and their 'Wrong Generation' EP came out in 2020. I think the only thing they released since then was the 'Bite Back' single from last year.
Just realized Thomas Pridgen is in this band now? To go from Aric to him is pretty wild, two incredibly talented dudes. EDIT: Sorry, by "this band" I meant Fever 333
Could be pulling this out of my ass but I've always had the assumption Jason isn't the easiest person to work / deal with.
I did NOT know Aric from Night Verses was in that band. Never been a fan of Fever but maybe I’ll check it out
In 333? Yeah as well as Harrison from The Chariot. They aren’t great - they do really really well on the live circuit though
