I was under the impression this record was already finished and we'd be getting an announcement shortly. I don't know why.

Nonetheless, I'm very stoked for new LTJ.

 

Same. Pretty sure Roger shared that masters were done and he was listening the them? haha.

 

They could be pictures from an already completed recording session. Seems unlikely they would be getting together in a studio with everything going on.

 

Roger was live on Insta demoing a new LTJ song (he mentioned where horns would be coming in) - tentative title is “Just Like Andy”.

Sounded awesome and is still up on his story right now.

Good point. The more I think about it, that's probably the case.

 

Pretty sure that was for something separate from the album, but agreed, it sounded pretty cool. Hopefully we'll hear what ever that's going to be soon.

And regarding the album, at this point they've all mentioned at various times that they finished recording it back in December. Chris did an interview with DJ Rossstar on instagram a few days ago and the topic came up on there, and he reiterated that it's done at this point, they're just waiting to figure out how/when to release it. Chris mentioned at one point they were hoping for a spring release, and then once they'd finished, it was likely going to be around August, but now with Covid-19 that they're working with the label to figure out the when and how.

 

Not sure if anyone follow's Roger's other band, Rehasher, but they have a new 7" (as well as one from last year) available on Smartpunk if you're interested.

Both records have a few different bundle options if that floats your boat.

Well part of it is going to COVID relief - drops to $1 at the end of the month, so I assume $4 is for charity.

 

Pretty cool to hear the finished song after watching Roger record it live on Insta Live.

 

Definitely. Hoping he keeps doing that while demoing out the next ones. Sounds we'll get one every couple of weeks.

Probably going to get the bundle with the beer koozies. With there was a bit more detail on what is going to come with the vinyl. Anthem has all that great art for each of the tracks, would be cool to have larger versions of those.

 

B is for B sides will always be amazing for me. Its fast and just straight bangers. Wish it got more love.

 

Portrait of a Cigarette Smoker is a top 5er for me!
