Less Than Jake and Kill Lincoln have teamed up for a new split due out on June 25th.

The ska-punk legends in Less Than Jake are teaming up with new tone up-and-comers Kill Lincoln for the genre-spanning split of the summer. Featuring two fiercely instant classics, Wavebreaker #1is the first in a series of split 7-inch's from Bad Time Records meant to bridge the gap between the third wave and the current ska-punk resurgence.

Wavebreaker #1 isavailable for pre-order now in three color variations (which all include a custom enamel 45 adapter), along with a pre-sale exclusive t-shirt. The split will be available on all streaming platforms on Friday June 18.

Side A features Less Than Jake’s new song “Need Some Shaking”; a high-powered horn-driven anthem where singer Chris Demakes explores the perils of stagnation, topped off with a signature Roger Lima ear-worm chorus. Side B features “Going Under” by Kill Lincoln; filled to the brim shout-able singalongs, circle pit inducing ska breaks, and the band’s signature blend of melodic hardcore that bubbles over into a frenzied breakdown. The songs show each band at the top of their game and feel right at home side by side with each other.

Music, a steady riot in my soul. Prestigious

I’m happy that this exists. There’s been a lot of good ska in the last couple years, and Bad Time Records has been involved with a lot of it.

For real. So much good ska! Not all through Bad Time but Less Than Jake, Five Iron Frenzy, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Suicide Machines, Aquabats, Goldfinger, and so much more!
