I dislike Lena as much as everyone else but I hate this narrative that he's free from her now or whatever. Unless it was an abusive relationship he couldn't get out of he knew how she is for years and clearly didn't mind all too much lol.

It always seemed a little strange to me that someone as outwardly progressive as Jack never had anything to say about her problematic tendencies (that I'm aware of).

I said it in the Bleachers thread too, but no matter what you think of either of them, it's pretty gross in my opinion to be openly celebrating something that is obviously an emotional and difficult experience for both of them. Especially when it's done on Twitter or somewhere where they're more likely to come across those comments.

not celebrating their relationships ending, but hopefully it's another chance for both of them to be happy. lot has happened since they first got together.

This is a great post and entirely true

 

The amount of hatred and vitriol directed at celebrities (and athletes, and classmates, and mail service professionals, and...) will always kinda shock me, especially when it results in things like people celebrating someone's marriage ending.

Not to say people shouldn't get very angry at celebrities that do terrible things, like abuse, criminal activity, and so on, I'm not talking about those situations, but in lesser circumstances sometimes I just don't understand where that level of hatred towards strangers is cultivated.
