Yeah the actor who played that guy in the suit looked like BOB in an odd crazy way. That whole sequence was insanely trippy.
This episode was really, really fantastic. Last week was great, but so bizarre and confusing, this episode really brought a lot together and progressed the story really well
She's got a great personality for it, and Aubrey Plaza is great at underlining the stuff that makes "Lenny" so creepy. My friends were talking about how the show can come off differently if you don't assume that David is the "good guy" necessarily
I don't know that David isn't a "good guy," he seems like a good guy. Once it became clear that there was another consciousness inside of David's mind (something that has been building since the first episode but was only expressly acknowledged this week), I think it's easier to characterize David as a victim in a hero/victim dynamic, rather than within a good guy/bad guy dynamic. I really see Syd as the hero of this story as of now.
Syd is my favorite. Still a lot to unpack this episode. So Bird has basically been using David in an attempt to bring her husband back, right?
Yeah, he's not necessarily the bad guy either, but that was all in service of making Syd the key to the narrative. Has it been confirmed Bird(?) isn't a mutant or
Didn't that scene happen when he was basically on telepathic overload and was listening to everyone anyway?
That whole last sequence in the house was tense and amazing. We're starting to see how powerful David can be, and it's terrifying. Definitely got some 'The Guest' vibes from Dan Stevens in this one.
I'm honestly jealous of people who find this show late and get to a binge a whole season and don't have to deal with these breaks.
