it was nice spending time with Syd, I felt so bad for little Syd, but the last conversation between her and David was bad though
I kind of wish the whole episode took place in the fantasy and we didn't get that part with the other characters discovering them on the roof Again, beautifully shot episode though. By far my favorite aspect of the show
I wasn’t totally in love with that episode. I feel like we could have covered all that stuff with Syd in half the time. Not too mention we already knew about her having sex with her moms boyfriend, which kind of seemed like it was meant to be a big reveal. Not a bad episode. Just not my favorite.
Probably my least favorite ep of season so far, but I still liked spending focused time with Syd and it's always great to see Lily Rabe.
Slight Infinity War crossover/spoiler I thought it was pretty funny that in last episode of Legion, Lenny tries to kill herself but the gun to her head just shoots bubbles. In Infinity War, multiple times Thanos changes people weapons to just shoot out bubbles. Probably coincidence, or The Shadow King has the...stone. that does that. the bubble stone.
Some people elsewhere seem to be interpreting this as FX giving them an extra episode to wrap everything up but Hawley gave an interview before the start of the season where he said there might be 11 episodes so I think this is definitely a good sign for season 3. ‘Legion’ Creator Noah Hawley Admits Season 2 Will Wage War on Your Senses
I kinda hope every episode has Noah doing dark classic rock covers now, Burning Down The House and Don't Come Around Here No More were both great
That was an awesome episode. I know a lot of people who think this season is a let down but I feel like other than the Syd episode, it’s been 10/10
Also another Infinity War spoiler crossover/COICIDENCE??? when the shadow king kills people, they fade into ash. Just like Thanos’ snap
That whole ending was so eerie. Good to see Plaza get more screen time. Loved that opening shot of the interrogation room with the angle looking right side up but being upside down.
Yeah I'm enjoying this season just as much as the first one. If they nail the ending, which they didn't in the first season imo, it could even be better
There hasn't been a dip in quality at all. This season has been just as good as the first. I haven't seen anyone say differently, though, so I had no idea that was a thing. One nitpicky thing I kept thinking, though, was like "Who would invent a device like that?" Like, what is the non-horrible use for that kind of thing? It didn't detract from my enjoyment of the episode at all, it was just a funny thing I was thinking to myself the whole time. I guess Division 3 had some kind of use for it.
How many separate Marvel continuities are there right now? MCU X-Men (which itself is convoluted as hell) Logan Deadpool Legion The Gifted I haven't watched Apocalypse or The Gifted, but I read that the latter is also its own thing.
