Ive had Immigrant Song stuck in my head for no reason at all, all week. Haven't heard the song in probably a year ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Listening on shuffle yesterday and Your Time Is Gonna Come and Ramble On played, two of my favorites. Got a lot of college memories associated with Ramble On, including singing it for karaoke with one of my best friends from that time so its extra nostalgic.

Fool in the Rain too, that solo and shuffle beat. I think I’m about to go on a huge Zeppelin kick. My first musical memory when I was a kid, the reason I picked up guitar, and my absolute favorite band in middle school. I’ll always love them.
Recently listened to the 1969 BBC Sessions album that I got on vinyl awhile back. So much fun to listen to—I love the bluesy riffing and the way Plant plays with his voice on their live stuff.
In My Time Of Dying is such a great song. Bonham’s drumming, Page’s flying guitar licks.. just immaculate musicianship all around.
doing my annual discog run today. LZ 1 isn’t my favorite but is still blindingly good. it’s their most blues album, and while i like bluesy things, i’m not a fan of more traditional blues really. but dazed and confused, babe i’m gonna leave you, and communication breakdown are all time rock songs.
The single pedal triplets on Good Times Bad Times still make me smile when I hear them. What a way to introduce yourself.
my biggest gripe with II is its a basically perfect record and then it ends on the worst song by a mile.
