Good songs, bad take.

Also both tracks are good but American Dream is definitely my favorite of the two right now. Call the police feels like quintessential LCD which is rad and all, but I like the melancholy feel of American Dream a lot.

 

I'm not big on the songs but I read like two paragraphs of this and it's the worst thing I've read all year

 

Also, there's a very very fine line between jokingly disparaging something "uncool" or whatever as "white ppl music" and declaring something "music for white ppl" as in "NOT music for non-white ppl" and that post treads way too closely to that line for my liking

 

reading some of the reactions of the new tracks here and not getting it, honestly have not stopped listening to them since they dropped and i am very excited for the new album. i liked call the police more when they first came out but im loving american dream a lot more now

 

new album is out september 1st, it's called american dream. world tour was announced too, definitely hitting up the miami date

 

james bro can you at least do 1 manhattan show to go with 10 brooklyn ones, itd make life a lot easier for us jersey folk.

 

So they will have played, what, 20+ shows at that same venue this year? Amazing lol.

Man, how fucking GOOD is The Long Goodbye? One of those live albums that almost makes me not want to return to studio material.

 

it's too good. "Yeah," "Movement," "Too Much Love" are way above their album cuts.

 

The live version of Movement is so fucking good.

 

I listen to it as much as if not more than the studios

Great record. The show they put on at Forecastle in 2017 is probably the best festival set I've ever seen
