I never really watch SNL, do artists ever do this? Play old material?

 

I don’t really think so no, doubt they’d get booked if they didn’t have anything new

 

I mean if Beyonce was like “Imma roll up to snl and do Formation and Halo” or something I doubt they’d say no but I don’t think LCD has that kind of draw

Feel like it’s pretty rare a band goes on snl with nothing to promote. Am i missing something? Cool choices to perform though.

 

Mulaney has a lot of pull, he also got David Byrne as a guest ostensibly to promote American Utopia

Finally got to experience this band live last night in Philly and it was incredible.

Just scored tickets to one of the Brooklyn shows in December. The fact that they can sell out 20 shows in BK over the course of a month is mind blowing. Psyched to see them for a second time this year.

 

I’m a casual LCD fan but I’m debating on grabbing a Re:SET ticket because the combo of LCD and Jamie (and I guess Idkes but I’ve only ever briefly listened to them) is too good to pass up. Are LCD a great band live?

 

The first time I saw LCD Soundsystem was one of the most magical shows of my life

 

Not a great live band. One of the best in the world.
