Agreed. This song is like if Max Bemis wrote "Admit It" in his late 40s with no melody.

I'm not on board with the Max Bemis of it all, but I think the song is really boring-ly linear and I find nothing musically interesting in it. Lyrically, I just don't like 'em!

 

I love this song! This is what I wanted LCD to sound like when they announced they were back. Really fun dance beats with James Murphy rambling about being middle aged over it. I know that sounds sarcastic, but it's genuinely what I wanted out of this album lol.

 

Great stuff. "Call the police" is still my jam so far

 

Tonite is pretty vintage LCD. I really like the flow of all 3 of these songs together.

Them describing it as a "slow bloomer" has me excited.

 

very pleased on my first listen. "how do you sleep?" is insane. will form more detailed thoughts tomorrow when i have a few more listens in me/it's not 1am.

 

Didn't love this as much as I wanted to. It's mostly solid, but nothing that hasn't been done by them before, and better.

I'll probably just wait and pick up the vinyl on my way home from work. The record store I go by has had the album up in the window all week just taunting me so they win.

 

this is...fine? nothing comes close to tonite imo, though maybe seeing some more of these songs live will help out
