I almost always rawdog mowing the lawn. My yard is fairly small so I use a push mower.

It's a peaceful life.

what is the benefit of using a reel lawn mower? they have been taking over my neighborhood and it seems like such an inefficient use of time lol

 

There's a part of me that would like to try a reel mower, because I hate having to buy gas/maintain an engine/smell exhaust, but I haven't made the jump yet.

 

Apparently healthier for the grass? But yeah, I have a big enough yard that there's no way I'd go that route.

 

A non-engine reel is obviously healthier for the environment. Using a gas reel seems dumb as shit but it keeps your grass healthier than a rotating mower

 

I used one once and it sucked. It would take me forever to do my yard now with one.

 

What's also unhealthy for grass is the grass being in Texas so I'm just like whatever

 

I hate the sound of gas powered lawn equipment, so a push reel is a beautiful thing. Healthier for you, healthier for the grass, healthier for the world.
