I know. I’ve had it for like 5 years now and I’ve had lots of issues too. It gets the job done for now though.
My dad gave me an old Husqvarna when we bought our house 2 years ago but it shit the bed and wasn’t worth fixing so I convinced my wife we should get the electric one
I’ve been wary of electric cause I have a pal who has been in grounds for years and years and is all “they lack the POWER that you get with GAS” but idk i’d certainly consider going green for my green next time
I have 2 ryobi lawn mowers and I can’t hear a podcast over em! I have the regular AirPods though without noise cancelling. I’m also pissed because my gf’s dad got a riding mower for cheap last summer and she didn’t want it so he sold it. I’d love to have a riding mower.
with the EGO I'm able to mow the front and the back and use the same battery for the leaf blower to clean off the porch after and I'm usually around 25% by the end of that, though my yard isn't the largest in the world or anything. its like 6 years old at this point.
I have one big batt for the mower and a smaller batt for my whacker. I can use both to do front and back without running out of juice. Throw them back on the charger in my basement when I’m done.
I have 2 40 v 6 ah ryobi batteries. It takes me about an hour to cut the entire yard. The first lasts about 40-45 minutes and then I switch to the next one. The mower I always use has a spot for 2 batteries so you just flip a switch to go to the second battery.
My dad rawdogged mowing our yard yesterday while my parents watched the baby yesterday. If he did listen to music, I'm fairly certain it would have been Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run
You're right - I've taken some time to reflect on my problematic behavior this morning and realized I've been ignorant of the purpose of my own thread. Somewhere along my journey to the top, I became distracted by the fame that comes with being a Moderator on Chorus.fm. I broke your trust. I'm not perfect, none of us are, but that's no excuse. I will taking a self-imposed exile from this thread until 12pm EST today to think about the decisions that led me here and consider what steps need to be taken for me to grow. I hope everyone who frequents the Lawn Mowing & Music Thread can find it in their hearts to forgive me, but I understand if this is not possible. With love, Aaron
