Haha, I guess if you are getting super technical it should have started as an Artist thread since she was just releasing standalone singles with no announcement of an album, but whateverrr

 

First single and solo tour in summer 2023 playing all new songs , several of those being scrapped, label delaying the album until 2025

 

Is that confirmed that the label delayed the album, not her own creative decision?

 

Yup, she said as much on her discord at one point.

 

I mostly want this cycle over with already so we can get some Chvrches again

 

It’s like Chrissy Constanza’s new EP. it could’ve just been from her band.

Same with Lauren’s music so far.

 

Eh I disagree, her songs all sound quite different from CHVRCHES so far.

I'm also annoyed at the length of the rollout but to find out part of it is out of her control puts it all into context. Just hope it doesnt mean it's going to take much longer for the band to come back as well.

 

Considering Martin’s cooking up a solo project too I think it’s gonna be a while :(

 

Perhaps they'll do something for the 10 year anniversary of Every Open Eye, like a reissue or something, and do a full comeback in 2026 then

 

It’ll be out this year.
