Yeah, the article (who reads those?) actually quotes him as saying he's seen the film and it doesn't really adapt the book at all, so he wants to actually adapt the book.

Let me take you back.... It's 2004, I'm 14 years old and my friends and I have been dropped off at the movie theater to see Shaun of the Dead. We get stopped when buying tickets because we are under 17 and are forced to see Shark Tale instead.
