Snack Shack - 6.5 - I love movies about high school summer hijinks. Set aside the fact that it's laughable these actors are supposed to be 14, this was a fun, sweet, and hilariously profane coming-of-age story. It drifted into cliche more than a handful of times, but the two leads were dynamite together.
I've been curious about Snack Shack, good to know it's worth a watch. I think I mentioned it before, but those actors look way too modern for it to be a '90s period piece. That's not what kids looked like.
The file of Heat I'm watching keeps stopping at the 1hr 47m mark and won't even let me skip ahead like 10 seconds and I'm furious because it's only streaming on the Criterion Channel and Tubi
I really loved snack shack flaws and all. I would have loved to have seen it in theaters in mid summer.
My dad has a lot of vhs and very random dvds. Mostly ones my brother and I bought him growing up. He really only sees new movies when we go to the theater. He loved monkey man.
I don’t think I’ve ever been to the movies with my dad. Last thing I remember him saying he saw was maybe Murder On The Orient Express? It was that or The Judge
never. he taped all of Seinfeld and the first 10 or so seasons of the simpsons. those will be passed down from generation to generation.
