Hated this movie so badly but you get 90% naked Jake Gyllenhaal which almost makes up for everything else.
Oldboy - 10/10 Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby - 7/10 There's Something About Mary - 6.5/10 Oppenheimer - 10/10 Got my tickets for Barbie tomorrow!
Barbie - 10/10, I absolutely loved this. The comedy, music, costumes, message…it delivered on everything.
Barbie - 8/10, loved Robbie and Gosling, think almost every comedic beat hit for me, but thought it stumbled a bit when it tried to be something more substantial, tho I'm the first to admit I'm not the target audience so fair play to those who it hits better for in that regard.
Oppenheimer - 9.5/10 I'm a Nolan skeptic, and there's still a bit of dialogue I'm chewing on, but it really was masterful stuff.
I saw part 2 in the theater when I was like 9 with my grandparents and my grandpa died a couple years ago, so I have nostalgia tied to it. It’s over the top and a goofy action movie, so I gave it a 6.5. My expectations for part one were a lot different than what it turned out to be cause I expected it to be like part one. It was ok, but not the Mission Impossible I expected.
The Invisible Man (2020) - 8.5/10 Some logistical issues, but the movie is literally so well-paced, directed, and acted that you just gotta overlook them. Total banger of a horror/thriller hybrid
12 Angry Men (1957) - 10/10 I’m pretty positive I’ve never given anything a 10 before but if anything deserves it, it’s this. Immediately my new favorite film
Mission impossible 2 makes trying to watch the entire series........ impossible. I tried doing that the other day. Trying to catch up and watch the entire series but then I watched 2 and I just can't go on.
My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done - 3/10 Werner Herzog has many great films but he also has just as many awful ones. this is definitely the latter
