But also you cannot tell me a bunch of shirtless dudes with names like Immortan Joe rhyming and throwing spears from the back of a golf cart isn't goofy as hell. And I'm not even saying that's a bad thing!

I just rewatched it recently and it is solid. Probably near the bottom for me of his movies but still good.

 

Wait, he's in that?? All I remember is Jodie Foster and KStew, been a while since I've seen it

 

Leto's fate in that film should be replicated in all his films.

 

Yep, and he's the only one that feels out of place. He's like a cartoon villain while everything else feels very grounded. I also just wish the worst for him as a human being, so maybe I'm biased

 

He also has cornrows for some reason

 

Past Lives was really good, definitely gonna keep an eye out for anything with Celine Song or Greta Lee from now on

 

I'm hoping to catch that this week.

A family superhero movie with good humor, characters, and action. It didn’t try to do anything crazy or epic and was kinda “safe”, but still good.
