i signed up for last.fm, but i still dont understand really how this works? do i need to download all the software it recommends, or just connect it to my spotify?
there was a way to have spotify automatically log your plays, but i dont think its in settings anymore.
Wanted to get back into scrobbling this year, but as far as I can tell I don't have access to my old account anymore, so I'm starting fresh. troysennett’s Music Profile | Last.fm

Thats hilarious seeing artists like Elmo and Oscar the Grouch . My youtube suggestions are the same way.
How do people deal with things like this? Technically, different albums, but not really, just three other songs. Do you just rename the "again" album so everything goes to the main album, keep them separate? It bugs me cause I want to have both "versions" in my library ...
I hate when that happens. There will be like 3-4 versions of the same album and they’ll all appear on my Last.fm. Sometimes I’ll delete the other album plays and replay the songs on the correct album in silence/background, but that can be a hassle. But at least it appears that playing the same song from different albums counts as one (usually) which I remember being a bigger problem before.
Install this bulk edit script, Its a godsend :) GitHub - RudeySH/lastfm-bulk-edit: Bulk edit your scrobbles for any artist, album or track on Last.fm at once.
