Yeah the RJ episode was crazy. At first I was thinking ok this house is a little eccentric but his grandma is nice and apparently wealthy what is he complaining about? And the more it was explained the more fucked up his family story became and that house is actually straight out of a horror movie.
Really makes me so sad that the situations of people like Dior and Nu are so common and whenever anyone sees something like this it’s like oh what can I do to help? But try to pass social safety nets, universal childcare, and public housing and more than half those people lose their shit about freeloaders. But it’s like no this is who you would be helping you assholes!
This new season is such a change of pace. I'm only a couple of episodes in, but it's weird how likable the coach is right now.
"Two claps. Ready, ready" Finished episode 3 last night. this might be the best episode of the series. very cool to see them tackle the mental health issues with Dior head on. it was incredibly jarring to see the coach be so aware yet the teammates kept making fun of him.[/quote]
John Beam is a legend and he truly seems like one of the kindest coaches in the sport. Having a 90% graduation and transfer rate at a commuter JUCO is unreal.
I’m trying to start the new season, but I’m p sure I never finished last season. So I went to see where I was, and have no idea cuz Netflix will just take you to the new one. I went into episodes, and I wish it said s1,2,3 etc. instead it lists them by campus. Which I get, but I don’t remember lol.
Fuck it just started the new season. So crazy seeing parts of the bay I visited all the time as a kid. Then the thizzle dance segment in the first ep. perfect.
