How come they stopped making good albums after their debut

 

They haven’t released a bad album. Y’all on crack

 

Can someone like their debut but not like Malibu Nights?

 

Malibu Nights is a better, more focused version of album 1, even if the highs on the debut are higher

 

I think the jump in quality from 1 to 2 = drop in quality from 2 to 3 lol

 

Album 1 has its fair number of songs (13, ILYSB, Hericane, Hurts) that are just as good as the best songs on Malibu Nights, but Malibu Nights is more solid as an album which makes for better spins.

 

Malibu Nights is the superior album to me. I could never get into Mama’s Boy though my buddy is telling me to give it another chance. He agrees Malibu Nights is better though.

 

Their top 5 songs for me come before anything on mama’s boy but that album is still good

 

Honestly this album is pretty good though I definitely like MOST of the songs

 

Sad is the only bop

 

I like the first half of mama’s boy. The last half I only like a couple songs

 

Kinda EP is better than Mama's Boy

 

Honestly minus those first two singles I can't name a bad song on this, and even "This is the Last Time" or whatever it's called has grown on me

 

I don’t think it’s bad - it’s not offensive in the slightest - I just think it’s boring and unremarkable. I want bops and nothing else.

Malibu Nights is terrible

 

All of their EPs are good. Dua Lipa dumped him and he forgot how to make an interesting song

All of Malibu Nights was written after Dua dumped him. Theory eradicated.

 

I mean, Malibu Nights is not great.

 

Malibu nights is their best album IMO. Not a ton of diversity but I’m not embarrassed to play it in front of others like I am with literally all of their other music.

the make out ep was fun when it came out, but they started to lose me with songs like “I like you lots”

 

I def think Malibu is the best collection of songs
