I personally wouldn’t want Malibu Nights pt 2 but I would like a few songs that sound similar to it.

Mama's Boy isn't S/T or Malibu Nights but it has some good songs. Sad and Heart Won't Me are the best songs by far.

 

Sad is definitely my favorite

 

I fuck with this more than I thought I would. Def low key and stripped back more than I anticipated, though. Wish some of it slapped a bit more, but it’s a smooth listen

This thing is a snooze; didn't care for a single track on this

If you want some good pop instead today, check out Norwegian artist Dagny's debut album "Strangers / Lovers"

 

Not into this at all. Not sure how to phrase this but I think a better lyricist could’ve made this album more enjoyable. A guy from a small town moving to la and making it is an interesting theme for a synth pop record. Paul’s lyrics are just so cheesy. Rhyming marihuana and wanna (or w.e. It is) is so cringeworthy

after being disappointed with this and the last 1975 album, I hope the band Camino album is good. Not that they’re very similar but those three itch the same scratch for me

 

Yup, an inconsequential, boring, and overly pedantic to the point of parody

a lot of the vocal and melodic work are boring (I was singing a lot of vocal runs and etc. over the melodies that would have made this WAY more interesting and energetic). really disappointed, I wanted them to beat my expectations

Real boring for me, couldn't make it through the whole thing. I look forward to enjoying them when they pop on a random playlist I'm listening to though.

 

Maybe I’m forcing myself to like it more cause I’m even more bored with acceptance lol

 

maybe it just grew on me cuz it's the only thing I was listening to this week since I wrote editor notes for it on AM haha

 

Sad is top tier; wish there was more in this vein.

This is corny as hell though.

Great album; "Somebody" and "It's Only A Heartbreak" are my favs, but the whole thing is a great listen

 

It’s definitely a solid listen so far

No staying power at ALL. What’s on this deluxe?

 

They haven’t said what songs will be added. Just that it will be released on the 5th

 

I haven't gone back to this album since it came out; what a dud
