Really good set from Lollapalooza this past weekend

I like the chorus but not the verses

 

Justin, I thought you'd be there through thick and thin

 

Thick and Thin is still one of the top bops I've ever heard in my life

 

Like, just sitting at my desk at work, when I play that song, I can't help my legs just start moving up and down

 

For real

 

This band sure knows how to write lingering pop songs

 

Listening to ‘Thick and Thin’ is when I learned I could snap.

I had so much fucking fun at their show

 

Same; I've luckily been able to see them twice now, and they just give off the best vibe, like you just feel good and connected to the energy, and you just flow with happiness the entire set.

 

Maybe I need to see them again, they were pretty terrible when I saw then

 

Really? How long ago? I saw once in October 2017, and again last November, and they were incredible both times

 

It was a festival set in 2018. I just found the lead singer bad with over bearing backing tracks, and his vibe was so apathetically “cool guy”. I was in the front row of the pit.

I like their music though so I was disappointed

 

Yeah I remember watching a festival set they did in the last year, and I think their sound doesn't translate all that well to an outside festival setting; much better experience indoors, where their sound really envelops you. Yeah I'd for sure give them a a shot again if you can
