Came out almost exactly a year ago haha but yes best of 2018 as well as 2019

 

I can’t believe how long we had to wait from Mariners Apt. I’m going to listen as soon as it streams Thursday night and it’s the most excited I’ve been for an album in ages

 

The delivery on “The Greatest” is just... the greatest. Easily one of my favorite songs of the year

 

Jack produced everything except three of them

 

I guess it fits Lana as opposed to the artists I’m used to him working with. All the layers are still there but it’s not as “bombastic”

 

I'm waiting for Friday, soooo excited.

 

The title track is... wow. And four of the pre-release singles are next on the tracklist? What a run already.

 

I think jack’s production is great here, and it only really suffers when it DOES have his signature traits (love song) IMO.

Also wish Doin’ Time wasn’t on here, or at least not as track five

 

This is so brilliant. A real lovely listen. The first since Born to Die I've had an instant connection with (and I really love the others now)

 

Guys, I'm going to get to listen to this for the first time on a plane to England this Saturday and I literally cannot wait.

The Greatest is so damn good - can’t wait to hear the rest

 

Didn’t think I loved this as much as I did until I just let it play on repeat all day. The opening four song stretch and “Cinnamon Girl” through “The Greatest” are both unreal. I really love “Happiness Is A Butterfly” into “Hope Is...” too. So like the whole album lol

 

Weird that she identifies as a centrist when every political stance she has mentioned (including in the article itself) points left

 

Yeah I imagine it's basically the same as Taylor, both are patriotic but feel weird about it now

 

I feel like she's just like "LOVE EVERYONE" "UNITY" which makes her FEEL like she's "in the middle" but these days is a very left stance haha

 

I was worried Doin Time would feel out of place on this album but it actually doesn't at all, it fits perfectly where it is
