haven't returned to the recent album much but she remains the only pop star I find remotely relatable lol

I feel so lucky I got to see her this weekend considering how few tour dates she has in the U.S. this year. It was everything I could've hoped for. Last time she did Lolla was honestly my least favorite show of hers that I've seen, but this one was up there with the best. She sounded so good, the setlist was great, the show was cool. I started crying during Young & Beautiful (mostly because it was like the 2nd song if after A&W which was really just the last 2 minutes of it). I hope she's back soon

Really odd she hasn't done a proper US tour since...fall 2019 (and even THAT had limited dates)

More evidence that someone should set her piano on fire before she gets around to the next album. This rules

It's probably for the best that most those dates are not Saturdays or I might've done something stupid. Or if Nashville had been like any Thursday....

What’s the reasoning for not touring often? She’s only been added to my bucket list recently and I’m wondering if traveling is really necessary.

I think she just doesn't like it and her career is stable enough that she doesn't need it

Agreed she doesn't like a big full tour. It's also just part of the image she's going for these days. I think she likes things to appear kind of spontaneous. Like hey I've had fun at the shows I just did so I decided to add a handful more in these random cities.

That’s fair. No reason to do it often if it’s not necessary and not something she loves. She certainly has plenty of other outlets for her creativity where the output is higher than her peers.

Definitely goes along with her image/personality as someone who just does what she wants criticism be damned.

The potential for another round of additional shows is what has me in questioning if I should fly down to Tampa and crash at my friends’ house for my birthday or wait in hope of an NYC (or even Philly) show that I can quickly drive to.

Honestly I feel like go for it. She may do like Gov Ball or something next summer, or maybe some amphitheaters in bigger cities next summer, but I wouldn't expect it before then. Even in her Euro shows it seems like it was festivals in big cities and then random shows in less populous areas. I could of course be way off though.
