Does anyone have a Lana Del Rey Love/Lust For Life heart-shapers record that they’d be willing to part with for a reasonable price? Trying to hunt one down for my significant other’s birthday!

 

Why do I still not believe this is coming this month even with confirmation it is

 

I find it very amusing how this was completely ignored by Pitchfork in their ''The 41 Most Anticipated Albums of Fall 2020'' list, especially considering they slapped Norman Rockwell with a 9.4 just last year.

Like someone said back in May, the reviews for this are going to make Arcade Fire's Everything Now reviews look like the Fetch The Bolt Cutters reviews.

 

Maybe her self sabotaging instagram posts from a few months back have to do with that omission

 

Let's just say that it's much easier to recover from a bad SNL performance. I don't think LDR has the musical ability or talent to reset the narrative and recover from those instagram posts. We'll see.

 

Im not expecting NFR levels of praise but she’s never had a really poorly reviewed album, I don’t really think it’s gonna start now. The Instagram posts were a bad look but I don’t think they ruined her career.

Also hard disagree that she doesn’t have enough musical ability or talent but that’s me

 

Yeah I don't think these posts actually harmed her career. If the Interview with Antonoff posted above is any indication, people are just going to gloss over them and she'll keep doing her "uwu I'm misunderstood :'(" shtick.

 

So we are getting the album this week yeah?

She said we are getting it this month and we have about a week left so...

 

I know I just don't believe her lol I'd love to be wrong, but she also said we were getting it 9/4

 

She hasn't delayed it yet so it's not coming out anytime soon right?

 

No album no surprise there but there’s a song “Hallucinogenics” on streaming by someone called Matt Maeson featuring Lana

 

Please do yourself a favor and dig into Matt Maeson's catalog.
